Here are some more photo references for my upcoming short, RED (temporary title).
Jet (The Screenplay) by Jordan Chesney
I made Jet (The Screenplay) instead of writing an actual screenplay. We shot this for 200 bucks, in one day. Months later we filmed everything all over again, but with a $10,000 budget and four days to shoot. Long story short, I made the same film twice, Jet (The Screenplay) and Jet (The Film). .
Jet (The Screenplay) was easy to make, cheap to shoot, with ideal locations, and perfect weather. Jet (The Film) was quite difficult to make, expensive to shoot, and we lost 50% of our schedule to bad weather.
I wanted to make the best film that I could, and thought money and time would help me do that. What I found was quite different. Making Jet has helped me understand which foot to put in front of the other, and how to value the moment over the budget.
Enid Valu is a really close friend of mine and the best photographer I know. She just moved out here to LA, to join the lot of us that think we’re gonna be something damn it. I want nothing but the best for her cause I know she wants it, I know she’s got it in her, and I know she’ll do good with it when it comes. Here’s to Enid and her new life in the sun.
